Is Verdiary free?
The plant tracker is free. Neighbourhood and expert help are also free while we validate the community experience—no credit card required.
Will my private plants appear in Neighbourhood?
No. A Help request shows a reviewed snapshot, and gardens are shared plant by plant. Nothing is published automatically from your diary.
Are questions and profiles public on the web?
No. Neighbourhood is currently for signed-in members aged 16 or older. Requests, profiles, gardens, and photos are not public search pages.
Can I self-host Verdiary?
Yes—the tracker is open-core and designed to run on your own infrastructure. Neighbourhood, moderation, and expert escalation are hosted services on verdiary.com.
